Mission: The mission of the media center is to support the curriculum, the students, and the staff, while fostering a lifelong love of reading. The media center strives to empower our students to succeed academically and help each other achieve their full potential. Through collaboration, the media staff partners with the greater WRH community to enable students to become lifelong learners, productive citizens, and to function successfully in an ever-changing society.
Ms. Miller is a native of Delway in Sampson County. She spent her previous 11 years working in Pitt County Schools. Six of those years were teaching English at South Central High School in Winterville. The remaining years she was a media coordinator for South Central (1 year) and North Pitt High School (3 years). She received her Bachelors (English Education) and Masters (Library Science) from East Carolina University. She is also a National Board Certified Teacher (2021). During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, riding her horse and reading a good book.
